Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 7, 2026
Website: www.the-happy-core.com (the “Site”)

This Privacy Policy is part of, and works together with, our Terms & Conditions. Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms & Conditions.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit, make a purchase from, or use services and resources offered through the Site.

Who We Are

The Site is owned and operated by To The Core Consulting LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). The Happy Core™ is a brand of To The Core Consulting LLC. We are committed to treating personal information shared with us with care and respect.

1) Children and Parent-Only Submissions

Our Site and Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16 (or under 13 in the United States, in compliance with COPPA).

When information about a child is collected, it is provided only by a parent/legal guardian, or collected from a child only with documented parent/legal guardian consent.

For services such as More Than Behavior™ (including empathy letters and related questionnaires), a parent/legal guardian may:

  • Complete questionnaires about their child’s traits, challenges, strengths, and observations; and/or

  • Consent for their child to complete a questionnaire.

This information is used only to deliver the requested service and support the child’s learning environment.

For pilot programs offered at no cost (including school-based pilots), parent/legal guardian consent is required before any student may participate.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information directly from a child without proper consent, contact us at kristin@the-happy-core.com and we will delete it promptly.

2) Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

A) Order and Account Information
Name, billing/shipping address, email address, phone number (if provided), purchase details, and payment-related information.

Important: Payments are processed through third-party payment providers such as Wix Payments, Stripe, and PayPal. We do not store full payment card details.

B) Questionnaire Information (e.g., More Than Behavior™ tools)
Information you choose to provide, which may include a child’s first name, age (or age range), traits, behaviors, strengths, challenges, and parent/guardian observations. This is provided by a parent/legal guardian, or by a child only with documented consent.

C) Device and Usage Information
Browser type, IP address, time zone, cookies, log files, and interaction data (pages viewed, time on page, clicks). Where enabled, this may also include analytics and advertising identifiers.

3) How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide products, services, and resources you request (including processing payments and delivering digital/physical items).

  • Create personalized outputs (such as More Than Behavior™ empathy letters) based on questionnaire responses.

  • Communicate with you about orders, appointments, service delivery, updates, and support requests.

  • Improve and optimize the Site, content, and user experience.

  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights (fraud prevention, security, enforcement of policies).

We do not sell your personal information.

Optional: anonymized educational use (only with separate consent).
With separate parent/guardian consent, we may use anonymized and de-identified versions of outputs (with names and identifying details removed) for education, training, conference presentations, research, or service improvement.

4) Consent for Questionnaires

By completing a questionnaire that includes information about a child, you confirm that you are the child’s parent/legal guardian (or otherwise legally authorized) and that you consent to our processing of that information solely to provide the requested service.

If a child completes a questionnaire at school or at home, participation occurs only with documented parent/legal guardian consent.

5) Data Retention

Questionnaire data: retained only as long as reasonably necessary to create and deliver the requested service, and for a maximum of 6 months afterward (to allow for corrections, re-delivery, or support), unless you explicitly opt in to longer retention for future services.

Order records: invoices and basic transaction records may be retained as required by tax and business laws.

6) Sharing of Personal Information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver services, such as:

  • Website hosting and site operations: Wix

  • Payments: Wix Payments, Stripe, PayPal

  • Forms/questionnaires: Tally

  • Analytics: Google Analytics

  • Advertising/measurement: Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms)

  • Email/communications and other tools needed to deliver services

These providers act as service providers/processors and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes beyond providing services to us (subject to their own terms where they act as independent controllers, such as payment processors).

We may also disclose personal information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

7) Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and tags) to operate our Site, understand usage, and improve marketing performance.

This may include:

  • Essential cookies (required for site functionality, security, and shopping/checkout features).

  • Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, time on page, traffic sources).

  • Advertising cookies / pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel) to measure ad performance and deliver more relevant ads.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you suspect any security issue involving your information, please contact us immediately at kristin@the-happy-core.com.
